What is shared (or virtual) web hosting?
Shared hosting, purchasing only part rather then the whole server, offers a cost effective solution to managing your website. With a shared hosting account you will receive space on a server with software tools for you to build and maintain your web site. Use our Prices and Packages Table to determine which shared hosting solution fits your needs.

What is a domain name and how can I get one?
A domain name is your address on the World Wide Web. To be accessed from anywhere in the world, a domain name must be registered with an ICANN accredited registrar. If you already have a domain name, there is no additional cost to use that domain name with aalpha NET. If you need a domain name you can purchase one through the aalpha NET order form. We'll handle the entire registration and domain name management process for you. aalpha NET can register available .com, .net, and .org domain names. Use our order form to check the availability of the domain name you want.

Policies

How long does it take to setup a new account?
Our automated sign-up process means your new account will be created instantly. But your account gets activated only when we recieve your payment. For immediate setup, you can pay us thro' Funds Transfer. You can deposit the payments into our account in the neares GLOBAL TRUST BANK in your city.

Is there any setup fees?
aalpha NET does not charge any setup fees for few of its plans. This may vary for few services.

How does aalpha NET provide technical support?
You can contact our support team through email at wecare@aalphanet.com. Helpdesk offers FAQ's, instructions, explanations, and trouble shooting tactics to answer your questions as quickly as possible.

Does aalpha NET permit "adult" hosting?
Pornography and sex-related merchandising is prohibited on all our servers. This includes sites that may infer sexual content, or links to adult content elsewhere. We will be the sole arbiter in determining violations of this provision.

How do I transfer my site to aalpha NET's servers?
Step 1: Click here to request transfer. On signing up you will recieve an email
Step 2: On Confirming the validity of your email, you will receive an email from us stating that your account has been set up . Further information will be mailed on receipt of payment.
Step 4: Then email a domain name transfer request to the appropriate registrar company, the company that you initially registered your domain name through. Use the aalphanet.com nameservers that are on the signup form when transferring your domain name.
Step 5: Once you verify the transfer, the registrar will point your domain name to our name server, and the rest of the world will be able to access your new site on our server with the domain name.

Who is a Reseller?
A Reseller buys bulk webspace or website packs at discounted rates. Resellers handle all interaction with their customers, including billing and technical support. Web designers, developers, and programmers often join the Reseller Program to provide their clients with discounted hosting. Take a look at our Reseller Package for more details.

How does the Reseller Program work?
You can join the Reseller Program by purchasing the Reseller Package. When you log into your Control Panel there will be lot of features.

How do I join the Reseller Program?
Join the Reseller Program by filling out our online order form. Simply select the Reseller package and you are automatically enrolled in the Reseller Program. What is a "subdomain"?
Subdomains are additional domains that can be added to the Reseller Bulk Space. Each subdomain receives its own disk space, data transfer and other dedicated features. Subdomains are not just subdirectories (www.yourdomain.com/customer) or third-level domains (customer.yourdomain.com). They are complete domains capable of full domain names that are owned by a Reseller.

What features are included in a subdomain?
Subdomains are created through us on request by reseller. The Reseller gets total control over the Domain once its activated. Please note that Domain name Registration Charges for each subdomain will be extra.

The Reseller Program is fully transparent to resold customers. Resellers handle all contact with their customers.
